Collection 100,
Edding advertisement.

Rather amusing advertisement idea for a haulage truck. Loads more here, irrelevant to my project at the moment but some witty ideas.

Interactive display window concept,

Interactive Window Concept made for the module Advanced Interface Design at Hyper Island hosted by North Kingdom.

Collection 100,
txtBOMBER

'The txtBOMBER is a one-hand-guerilla-tool that generates political statements on the fly and immediately prints them on any flat surface...' The write up on Behance Network continues informally to describe this machine by Felix Vorreiter and offers a few more photos in context. Weather or not they are available isn't disclosed but they definitely should be! //VIDEO

Collection 100,
CMYK Pen,
Beautiful.

...and given it's only a concept pen, the 3D rendering by Roma Lubimov is pretty amazing. More really cutting work on the website.

Collection 100,
Colour picker pen,

As a concept this pen is very nearly genius, such a brilliant idea. The technical side of it however, lacks certain thinking and science. The use of RGB ink cartridges combining to make any colour may be all well and good in the screen based world of colour, but print based media requires CMYK. Also for this pen to achieve its full 'any colour' goal a white and black cartridge would probably come in useful...

Reinventing the Bic,

...t.y.p.o.r.g.a.n.i.s.m...

Rather than me describing the aims of this website in great detail, the description is a much more entertaining interactive flash script that will inform you further. What I will say is that they experiment with type on various levels, treating text like an 'organism' reacting in different ways to certain constaints.

The home page mimics a microscope slide and links the menu to coloured cells in this view that constantly move regardless off user interaction. I really like the script that looks at weighting of text and allows you to weigh different fonts, sizes and weights. Endin up with something like this...

Tim Fishlock,

I came aross Tim Fishlock through a rather interesting experimental music video working soley with minimal shape and vibrant colour. His vimeo account uneartherd quite a fun little video demoing 'an interactive sound toy and compositional tool' called, Dapper. I'll let the video description explian the rest, but I just thought it was pretty cool. In all honesty once the board starts to come together with these 'visual sounds', I feel the colours don't do the design much justice.

Collection 100,
I LOVE BIG FAT DRIPPY PENS!

Google Maps 5.0 for Android,

Google's latest update in satellite navigational systems for android - Tilt, rotate and zoom smoother than ever before! As a non-android civilian alot of these new apps and programmes go over my head, but made me look twice. The graphics look impecible and the 'compass mode' really twists up the standard way of presenting GPS mapping on such devices.
