On the 12th of November 2008 a group of pranksters handed out more than 1.2 million fake New York Times newspapers mainly in New York City and Los Angeles in 2008 with a front page story declaring "Iraq War Ends" and dated July 4 2009. They even set up an entire website with all of the liberal fantasy headlines.
Universities to be free! Bike paths to be expanded! Thomas Friedman to resign!
